Construction Process
We follow the same steps to create every set of custom boat
sun pads we make. We have some of our construction process photos
here on this page and you will also find many others in our image
gallery.
Step 1 - We need to trace the no-skid surface from the bow
of your boat onto our template material. We do this for boats that
we work on in our shop. Otherwise you will be required to trace
the no skid area of your boat onto our template
material using our template kit. See
Demonstration Here.

Step 2 - Once we have the template created we move into
our shop and begin cutting patterns, foam, and other materials
needed to create your sun pads. You'll also need to select the options
for your sun pads like cupholders, pillows, carry case and covers.

Step 3 - We then begin to sew the raw materials together
according to template specifications laid out in Step 1.

Step 4 - Once we have the boat pads sewn together we then set the
mounting hardware in place to secure the pads while in use.

Step 5 - We then place the sun pads on the customers boat
for final inspection. The pads are inspected for material defects,
craftsmanship, and quality before they are turned over to the customer.
